Purpose

Endovascular Therapies: Management Strategies for Vascular Patients is designed to provide an update of the most useful recent developments in endovascular therapies as they are encountered by surgical specialists, radiologists, and other health care professionals who treat vascular disease.

Target Audience

This course is designed for any healthcare provider who is interested in advanced vascular care including: internal medicine physicians, cardiologists, vascular, general, thoracic, cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgeons and vascular interventional radiologists.

Educational Objectives

At the completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Discuss the expanding capabilities of Endovascular Therapies for patients with peripheral vascular disease.

  2. Recognize and describe indications and limitations of lytic therapy for arterial and venous pathology.

  3. Demonstrate factors which impact successfulness and durability of stent-grafts and new emerging techniques and strategies for their use.

The Physician Assistant Review Panel has approved for a maximum of 15 hours of AAPA Category I CME credit.
